Blogger's note: This is relevant to those with any kind of external validation or approval-seeking issues, not just weight loss.

  1. Many people in academics say that being in "denial" is dangerous. However, they fail to recognize the powerful relationship between thought, electromagnetic energy produces by thought and mental focus. There is a huge difference between denial and desire. I know from experience that this excerpt is very true and works. Of course, it only works if you believe it and keep your focus where it needs to be.

  2. Thanks for the input - what was your experience? What made the difference?

  3. The difference is belief and conviction, and, of course, never giving up. I kept my mind on what I wanted without focusing on what is or what I did not want. Everything else fell into place. Once I receive, I am grateful and move on to the next dream. If "what is" is wonderful, then I bask in it.

  4. Inspiring. I love success stories when esp when people are aware of using their focus.

I've noticed when I'm on the elliptical trainer and my mind is wandering, if I hit a low-end thought like guilt or shame, I immediately lose all will and "give up" w/o even thinking about it. I just stop. And I don't mean dwelling on such thing, but just for an instant. I have to really watch my thoughts to keep motivated if I don't feel like working out that day. It's instantaneous feedback in an abraham sense.
