Abraham: Rent's Too Damn High! (Okay, gas.)

Guest: My next question is about the price of gas in the United States. It's at its highest point historically, and I'm wondering what those of us who are Conscious Deliberate Creators and are on the Leading Edge can do to find the positive aspects in that, to feel good about that, to begin to change the vibration around that.

Abraham:  Well, here's what we would like: We would like it to cost ten times what it does, and you not care... because as long as you care what something costs, you’ve got a limitation set on how much money you think will come into you. So you go to the pump, and the cost of gas is high, all that does is cause you to launch a rocket that says, "I'd like more money to pay for this higher price of gas." And Source says, "Alrighty, then." And then all you've got to do is bring yourself into alignment with that, you see?

Our favorite story about that was a woman who was talking about her now-husband who was a former husband of someone else to whom he was paying alimony. And his former wife kept taking him back to Court and demanding more money. And they wanted to know what they could do, how they could shut her down. She was taking too much of the money that they wanted to spend on their now-life that they were living together. 

And we said, "we wish your now-husband had ten ex-wives and we wish that they were all going to court and asking for more money ... because the most they are going to get is 50% usually. And so, if he's got that many people calling that much money through him, his income is increasing dramatically if he'll let it and they're only getting half. 

[Audience laughter.]

Abraham: Anything that causes you to want more, when you come into alignment with it, it's a done deal. So the price of anything doesn't matter because if you want it, Source is arranging a way, right now, for you to have it - you've just got to stop complaining about the price of gas.

So, here's how it happens. You go to the gas pump - this is exactly how it happens: Jerry and Esther filled up the other day and it was $725, and they were going to drive that gas out, that day. So, as you go to the gas pump and you fill up and you feel that discord of the price of this fuel. In that moment, you launch a rocket of desire that says, "More money for fuel," and Source Energy says, "Done. Done." 

Then you say, "This costs too much." So, the money is sitting there, but you don't have access to it. You say, "It's terrible what they are doing." You don't have access to it. You say, "It's highway robbery." You don't have access to it. You say, "The Bush Administration and their oil cronies are doing this deliberately just to put more money in their pocket." You don't have access to it. (You REALLY don't have access to it.) 

You say, "It's nice that this gas is available to me." You start moving in the direction of the improvement in your money for gas. You say, "What I need always come to me." You start moving toward it. You say, "I have enough flexibility in my budget that I can, for now, put a little more of it here." You start moving toward it. You say, "I've never paid too much attention to what things cost, and I'm not going to make this be an exception." You start moving toward it. You say, "What I need always flows." You start moving toward it. 

And with enough deliberate training, you move yourself into alignment with this BIG pile of money that's waiting for you in vibrational escrow for gas or for anything you've launched it over there for. And then, you come and you say, "I'm making $20,000 more than I was last time I talked to you." And we say, "Good, spend some of it on gas."

[Audience laughter and applause.]

Abraham: Whatever you want. Whatever you want is there for you. Whatever you want.

So Esther has no concern about dollars and gas. Sometimes, she goes into pay and comes back and Jerry says, "How much was it?" and Esther said, "I don't know. I didn't notice." She signed the ticket because it doesn't matter. Whatever it costs is what it costs and she was going to get it anyway so what possible difference does it matter? So her answer is usually, "Well, it costs what it costs and it's there on the ticket if you want to see it." In other words, it's irrelevant what it costs, it costs what it costs. 

And then they were at a gas station in San Diego last week and they filled up their tank on their Yukon, or they wanted to, but the pump cut them off at $50 and only gave them half a tank. And Esther said, "Well, we could either go again or we could just leave it at that," and Jerry said, "Let's just leave it at that. We can fill up again later." And when Esther went in to get her receipt she heard the woman who had come in behind her say, "I would like $2 worth on pump 3, please."

And Esther felt that pang because Esther saw that $50 did not give her half a tank and she figures that $2 won't even show on that woman's meter. And so, Esther started moving in the wrong direction on this subject of gas, not on her behalf, but on somebody else's.  Esther is not worried about gas prices for herself, but  she could listen to enough people that she begins worrying about them and then she's not contributing to the improvement either, you see.

And so, we want you to understand because we can feel it rippling even in this room that sometimes people feel as they listen to us, "Well, Abraham, you're just teaching people to be selfish and to not care or worry about what's happening to anyone else." And we say, "We want you to care, but we don't want you to worry." When you care, you launch into Vibrational Escrow on their behalf. When you worry, you do not help them get to what you've launched over there on their behalf. 

So, it's possible...this ties in with your question about 'who am I' and 'why am I here' and 'who are the people gathering here in this Abraham energy'... And we say, You care about other people and you will launch rockets of desires on their behalf, but you can't suffer for them and be catalysts to help them receive improved conditions. 

In other words, you've got to follow the dream of the improved life for them. As Uplifters, you've got to learn to walk your way up the Emotional Scale on behalf of those that you care about because you can't see them as victims and do them any good. And when you see anybody as a victim, you shoot yourself in the foot. 

It's really interesting how powerful you are and how you're all tied in with one another. The thoughts you think about other people not only affect you, but they affect the part of their life experience that rendezvous with you.

When Bad Things Happen to Kids (Long)

Guest: I was having lunch with somebody who asked me to ask a question for her. She wanted to know if you could explain why bad things happen to children.

Abraham: When something unwanted happens (you're calling it a bad thing), the assumption is that it is punishment. The bad thing that happened isn't punishment that's being exacted by some greater power, it is this person who is receiving the punishment, or the bad things, not allowing the good thing to be there instead. So it's a vibrational resistance that is keeping them from living the well-being that they want and deserve.

So now the next question is how would a child get into a place of vibrational resistance? They weren't born with it.. how did they get there so fast?

And we say, in some cases they are born with it in the sense that they picked up the vibration of a worried parent even before they were born. The misassumption is because they can't talk they're not thinking. And that's not true.  You don't need language to think. The best thinkers on your planet are the beasts and they don't talk at all. They don't formulate their experience of life into words or into sentences. They Be It.

Then the next question is so does that mean that anyone, a child, could learn a vibration of resistance so early in life that they begin blocking the Stream of Well-Being?  And we say of course that resistance is passed on from generation to generation. Look at the hatred in the homes that so many children are being born into. Look at the family squabbles and the abuse that some children are even born into.

As you follow the paths of serial killers (and we don't recommend it), but if you could get to know their history and if you could hear from them what their life was like they would tell you about all of the abuse that they experienced and how many people were pushing against them. No one ever behaves badly who is in alignment with source, so it's just a chain of pain where I'm not in alignment with Source which means I feel totally disempowered, so I'm seeking revenge because it makes me feel better than the disempowerment that I feel, so I offer something negative to you, and now you feel powerless, and on and on it goes, you see.

So then the next obvious question, we can feel it all over the room, is well that's a screwy environment that we would say we were willing to be born into. If we are Pure Positive Energy in the non-physical why would we, for a moment, say that we are willing for a moment to subject ourselves to  to an environment where we could possibly encounter this influence of disconnection to the point that we would then attract something negative into our experience

And we say from the Broader Non-Physical Perspective you didn't see any of it as risky because you knew you were being born with a Guidance System. And most of all, most of you, and especially those, there a lot of teachers in this room who had very shaky, uncomfortable beginnings. And the reason you did is because you wanted to hit the ground running, you wanted your own contrasting life experience because you wanted to fill your Vibrational Escrow full of wonderful things.  And as you listen to so many teachers you discover that even though they had rocky beginnings their desire was so strong... and when they found vibrational alignment with Source then the wonderful things that begin to unfold in their life are so much more than they could have been if they hadn't had the rocky beginnings because the Rocky Beginnings are what put the Vibrational Escrow stuff  there, you see.

Guest: Yes.

Abraham: Now do not misunderstand. We are not for a minute saying that we recommend hard lives so that you can firm up your vibrational escrow. That was not the point at all. But some of you come forth so invincible, so knowing, so ready to teach, so wanting to teach, that you are not picky about the environment into which you are born. You were not wanting to be born into a feathered nest. You are wanting to be born into an environment of diversity where you could gather a lot of information fast and come to your own conclusions fast, you see.

And the only thing that goes wrong, it's not wrong, but it makes it seem like it's temporarily wrong, is that you get into that environment and the rockets of desires are born, but instead of turning your undivided attention to what you want, you keep justifying why you want it by pushing against what's gone wrong. And there are so many parts of your civilization that encourage that. In other words, so many people are happier for you to be a victim, and to encourage you to continue to be a victim, and they'll join forces with you in pushing against the victimizer and none of that turns you downstream ever you see. Ever.

There are no victims there are just recipients of vibrational offerings. Does that mean everybody offers vibrationally what they mean to? Of course not. You aren't even offering vibrationally what you want to. Every time you watch CNN or spend some time reading a newspaper and get fixated on something that's going wrong in the world, you're not in vibrational alignment with what you want. But reading those newspapers and watching those world events is certainly what's putting the stuff in Vibrational Escrow. The question is how soon are you lining up with it.

And a lot of those children that people are worried about are in a much better place than the people who are worried about them. And there's so many people around the world who are using what's going wrong with each other as their reason to beat the drum of powerlessness that there is an epidemic about it, afoot, you see.

Oh... when you come into the vibrational alignment with the knowledge that all is well and that it is just a thought away to come into alignment with it. And when you start demonstrating as you and our friend before, so many of you, are deliberately putting Law of Attraction to test. You're saying okay I hear that it's out there, this is a thought that I'm thinking, and it's a pure thought, it's not a thought I've worried about for a long time, it's a thought that I'm putting out there... when you see how fast Law of Attraction responds to your pure thought, doesn't it make you want to clear up some of the others? Doesn't it make you want to come into alignment with your own worthiness and with your own abundance and with your own physical body? With the other people that are in your live that you love and that you want to love you. Don't you want to come into alignment withthose things?

And you do it by choosing thoughts that feel good when you think them.

So, now back round to your question:

Abraham how is it that a child, a little child, could be born into this world and have less than good-feeling thoughts? 

(That's really what you're asking because w/o that they could not be having a negative experience. )

And we say they are like almost everybody else. They are a byproduct of their environment and they offer almost 100 percent of the time vibrational response to what they are observing. So if they have the good fortune of being born into a happy home, they observe it mostly and they get off to a more positive start. if they have what you would call the bad fortune of being born into a negative home they observe it more and they get off on that foot.

But whether they are off on the foot of feeling good or off on the thought of feeling bad, in every moment they have this vibrational relevance between where they are and Who They Really Are and that Call of Source never stops calling, so We think you like the drama of it as humans, we do.  Very often you want to know what you don't want so that you REALLY know what you do want. And it doesn't make any difference whether you go a long time before you turn and go with the stream. It's more dramatic. I was without it and without it, without it, without it, without it, without it, without it, without it, then I figured it out and oh boy is life good. As opposed to I want it. I got. I want it. I got it. I want it. I got it. I want it. I got it. I want it.

And your public seems to enjoy you more if you suffer first.

Attention to Rape

Lets say that you are a young woman and your mother, when she was a young girl, was raped, so almost from the first thing you remember she talked about it in a guarded way, and so you started picking up on some of that vibration. Not really worrying about it yourself because you say " I live in different times and different places and I am a different person," but still the seeds of that negative vibration beginning in you.

So then because that vibration is within you, you start attracting from your physical environment information about that. And you become best friends with someone who before you met her was also raped. So now the vibration is starting to feel realer to you. You're thinking about it more, you're feeling more vulnerable about it. So now it's a very strong part of your vibration. And now because of the amplification and the amount of attention that you spend on this subject, now you are vibrationally in the perfect position to be the one that the next raper that is anywhere in your proximity chooses.

Now this is what we were talking about. In other words people interacting in your physical sphere influencing you to a vibrational pattern of thought. Now as you are in that vibrational pattern of thought your vibration reaches to the boundaries of the Universe. So you not only have access to a physical raper you also have vibrational access to any of the vibrations in the thought bank !!

In other words so you could have many other-dimensional experiences. So then you go to a past life regressor and you say, "I've got this trouble. I worry about being raped." And so they do a past life regression and in your past life regression you have the experience of having been raped. Or maybe the experience of witnessing someone being raped in this altered state of consciousness. And then your conclusion is "Ah this explains it!" I was raped in a past life and I didn't get it all dealt with so now here I am dealing with it again."

And we say, Balony!!! All that happened was along this physical trail you bumped up against some influence that caused you to start developing a pattern of influence that caused you to reach to the boundaries of the Universe for more of that experience.

...If you are not in a vibration of well-being before you start reaching, from whatever vibrational stance you are in, that which you will attract will be in harmony with that.

If you don't know that what you think and feel and what you get is always a vibrational match -- then every time somebody dies in an airplane, or every time somebody gets cancer and dies, you feel more vulnerable, because you don't understand the relationship between your vibration and what has happened.

As you feel vulnerable, then you gather in societal experiences where you try to gather together in groups in order to provide some sort of haven of safety. Because, after all, you believe there is great strength in numbers. You still see it, in your physical format, as "us against someone else." When in truth, there is no one against anyone....

Anything that Happens To You Is In Direct Response To Your Vibrational Offering.

You all have access to the Energy Stream. And anything that happens to you, no matter who you are or what you believe -- anything that happens to you has happened in direct response to whatever your vibrational offering is.
