Seth Classic: Practicing Idealist

Seth, The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events, Session 873, p. 301,  08/15/79

Seth: In a manner of speaking, you must be a practicing idealist if you are to remain a true idealist for long. You must take small practical steps, often when you would prefer to take giant ones — but you must move in the direction of your ideals through action. Otherwise you will feel disillusioned, or powerless, or sure, again, that only drastic, highly unideal methods will ever bring about the achievement of a given ideal state or situation.

Life at all levels of activity is propelled to seek ideals, whether of a biological or mental nature. That pursuit automatically gives life its zest and natural sense of excitement and drama. Developing your own abilities, whatever they may be, exploring and expanding your experience of selfhood, gives life a sense of purpose, meaning, and creative excitement — and also adds to the understanding and development of the society and the species.

It is not enough to meditate, or to imagine in your mind some desired goal being accomplished, if you are afraid to act upon the very impulses to which your meditations and imaginings give rise. When you do not take any steps toward an ideal position, then your life does lack excitement. You become depressed. You might become an idealist in reverse, so that you find a certain excitement in contemplating the occurrence of natural disasters, such as earthquakes.

You may begin to concentrate your attention on such activities. You may contemplate the end of the world instead, but in either case you are propelled by a sense of personal frustration, and perhaps by some degree of vengeance, seeing in your mind the destruction of a world that fell so far beneath your idealized expectations.

None of the unfortunate situations discussed in this book have any power over you, however, if you understand that events do not exist by themselves. All events and situations exist first within the mind. At the deepest levels of communication no news is secret, whether or not you receive it by way of your technological gadgets.

Your thoughts and beliefs and desires form the events that you view on television. If you want to change your world, you must first change your thoughts, expectations, and beliefs. If every reader of this book changed his or her attitudes, even though not one law was rewritten, tomorrow the world would have changed for the better. The new laws would follow.

Any new law always follows the change in belief. It is not the other way around.

There is no civilization, no system of science, art, or philosophy, that did not originate in the mind. When you give lip service to ideas with which you do not agree, you are betraying your own ideals, harming yourself to some extent, and society as well, insofar as you are denying yourself and society the benefit of your own understanding. Each person is an idealist. I simply want to help you practice your idealism in the acts of your daily life.

Each person alive helps paint the living picture of civilization as it exists at any given time, in your terms. Be your own best artist. Your thoughts, feelings and expectations are like the living brush strokes with which you paint your corner of life's landscape. If you do your best in your own life, then you are indeed helping to improve the quality of all life. Your thoughts are as real as snowflakes or raindrops or clouds. They mix and merge with the thoughts of others, to form man's livingscape, providing the vast mental elements from which physical events will be formed.

He Wants A Million Dollars But He Doesn't Want To Go Work For It Part 3

Part One here, and Part Two here.

Guest: I was wondering if I was creating too big, if I was trying to make something too big, and the gap between what I wanted and where I am was too big and that was causing some of the grief.

Abraham: Well surely a million dollars is not too big from where you stand. That's just not too big.

Guest: It's actually wasn't even a million dollars, it's $150,000.  The million was just something I made up. (Laughs.)

Abraham: Esther was listening to Donald Trump, and she was listening to the words he chose. And he uses words like "Oh, it's a juggernaut. Oh, it's a sure success. Oh, it's the most sensational building that has ever been built. We're building the most beautiful building in Chicago that has ever been built. Oh, it's magnificent. Oh that person is a friend of mine."

And as she listened, she began to realize that he's figured it out. Now he annoys most of the world, but you know what? He doesn't care. He has developed a relationship between what he wants and where he is even when what he wanted and where he was were not in the same place, you would not know it to hear him. In other words, he continued to tell the story the way he wanted it to be, and so the Universe continues to yield to him. Now there are all kind of people that say, "Oh he's a braggart. Oh, of course he can talk like that, he's a billionaire." And we say he wasn't always, he was talking like that and then he became that you see.

And so, you don't have to follow his lifestyle or his personality, but you do have to follow the success principals that he's found. You gotta talk about what you want. You gotta tell it like you want it to be. You can't face reality and have reality change in any way. You've gotta face the parts of reality that you love, and fill in the gaps with things that you get from your imagination or from your expectation.

And before you know it, you see... And so here you are and you've got a lot of good things in your life which you accentuate and talk about and appreciate and make lists of. So you make lists of positive aspects and you get on rampages of appreciation, and you look for good wherever you see it, and you feel good as much as you can.

And then you have goals that you don't know how you're going to achieve. So then, you fill those in with imagination and visualization and pretending. And then as you start doing that you'll have a dream about it that makes it feel more real. Or you'll meet somebody that's really living that way. Or you'll turn on the television and somebody will be talking just like you've been imagining. Or you'll pick up a book. Or you'll hear another interview. In other words, the Universe will help you to rendezvous with whatever the vibration is that you've finally achieved.

And little by little, you just work yourself in to where you've filled in the gaps that you're not now living with your vibration as you've used your imagination. The Universe does not know the difference between someone who has a million dollars and someone who just feels like they have a million dollars.

And when you feel like you have it, your vibration is such that Law of Attraction must line you up with things like that. And that's true whether you're talking about relationships; whether you're talking about the building of empires; whether you're talking about attracting people to help you with your business, It doesn't matter what it is, you've got to find the vibration of it, and you've got to practice the vibration of it until the vibration of your desire, supersedes the Vibration of your Doubt. And when the vibration of desire supersedes your Vibration of Doubt, Bam. It happens.

He Wants A Million Dollars But He Doesn't Want To Go Work For It Part 2

Part One here.

Guest: It seems like the resistance is so subtle; it's like its somewhere in the background of the drama you don't even recognize it.

Abraham: We wouldn't call it "subtle", well, maybe that's a good word for it, but we would use a more blunt word, and that is "I've practiced contradictory thoughts so long, that they feel natural."

And so when you start imagining having a million dollars, and we're going to play here with you for just a little bit, but when you start imagining what that means, and we don't want you to just get a million dollars and stop, you're going to want a million dollars always at your disposal. You're going to want to spend that and have another on its heels, because we promise you once you get used to millions of dollars moving through your experience, a million dollars won't last you very long.  Because you begin to live in a way...and... your property taxes go way up.

So what is it that we are wanting you to trust in? The fact that you can be or do or have anything.  How is that we want you to approach it? Slowly and gently. We want you to be happy with where you are. You have to make peace with where you are.

So you can't say, "Oh my life is miserable, and I have to do all these things I don't want to do and boy if I had a million dollars then I wouldn't do any of these things because... can you feel how jumbled the energy is?

What you're saying is "Universe, I'm miserable and unhappy where I stand, please give me something that will make it better." And the Universe says, "Sorry, we can only give you more things that will make you miserable," because that's the vibe you're offering.

And you say, well how do I offer something other than...I want to be over there and I'm over here.

And we say well, talk about what's over there. And most people have a very difficult time talking about what's over there because they've been talking so long and hard with such detail about what's over here that that's what is active in their vibration. And that's why we're talking about these emotional journey. You've got to talk yourself into a different vibe and then different things will come to you.

Part 3 here.

He Wants A Million Dollars But He Doesn't Want To Go Work For It Part 1

Guest: I want to go create million dollars, but I don't want to go to work for it.

Abraham: Well, your statement is really telling and really important because what you're saying is " I want a million dollars, and I believe that there are ways to get a million dollars that I don't want to do." So what you're doing is saying, "I want this, but I don't want this," and that's not a very powerful state of being because you're setting  contradiction up right away.

So you soften that by saying, "I want a million dollars and I want to find a way that is compatible with me to receive it." Now there's less resistance in that. You say, "I want a million dollars, and I know that there are a lot of people who have a million dollars, who got it in a way that would be not be uncomfortable to me."

But when you say, "I want a million dollars, but there is no one  I'm going to inherit it from; or I want a million dollars, but nobody that I know is going to die and leave it to me... IOW, you've got to stop the contradiction.

When you talk about what you want, and why you want it, there is usually less resistance within you than when you talk about what you want and how you're going to get it because when you pose questions that you don't have answers for like how, where, when, who, then it sets up a contradiction vibration within you that slows everything down.

Statements such as "There must surely be many people on this planet today, who have a million dollars, and in excess of it, who at one time were standing right where I am, just wanting it, and having no idea how it was going to come. Feel how resistance-free that statement is.

Words like "Faith" and "Trust" are so annoying on some levels, but we want to explain to you the value of them because even though you don't know how, or where, or when, or who, if you know what, and you've talked about why you want it, and you've practiced the thought of it until it's starting to feel very familiar to you, what begins to happen is things that couldn't happen to you now, begin happening, and ideas that wouldn't even occur to you now,  begin to occur to you, and rendezvous with people that you don't have access to now, begin to happen, and when your million and many more come to you, you will wonder where it always was.

Part 2 here. Part 3 here.

Breakdown of Bridge Beliefs about Money and Abundance

Vibrational Relativity Regarding My Financial Abundance

The following are some examples of the vibrational relativity between the common desires and the beliefs that we see in many people regarding their financial abundance. First we will state a common desire that many people hold regarding money or about abundance, and then we will list a series of common beliefs about that desire. And next, in brackets, following those beliefs, we will indicate the degree of vibrational compatibility.

For any desire to be realized by you, or before anything can manifest in your life experience, there must be vibrational compatibility between your desires and your beliefs.

As you read down each of the following lists, notice the feeling of the lessening of resistance – or the improvement in the vibrational relationship – between the stated desire and the commonly associated belief.

Desire: I want more money.

Belief: I'm so tired of not being able to afford to do the things I
want to do.

[This belief is vibrationally incompatible with the stated desire.]

Belief: If I plan well, I can shift things around so that my money
goes further.

[This belief is vibrationally more compatible with the stated
desire.]

Belief: I'm so glad I have enough money to put toward this thing
that I want.

[This belief is even more compatible with the stated desire.]

•••

Desire: I want money to come to me more easily.

Belief: It seems like too much of my life is spent earning money.

[This belief is vibrationally incompatible with the stated desire.]

Belief: Surely there are things to do that earn more money per hour.

[This belief is vibrationally more compatible with the stated desire.]

Belief: I'm glad I have this marketable skill that pays the bills.

[This belief is even more vibrationally compatible with the stated belief.]

•••

Desire: I want to come into financial balance.

Belief: No matter how hard I try or how much I work, something always seems to come up that keeps me from getting ahead.

[This belief is vibrationally incompatible with the stated desire.]

Belief: I don't have much control over how much money will come in this week, but I do have some control over how much I spend.

[This belief is vibrationally more compatible with the stated desire.]

Belief: I'm gradually coming into balance.

[This belief is even more vibrationally compatible with the stated belief.]

•••

Desire: I want to be free of debt.

Belief: I'm so tired of being in so much debt. My monthly payments take such a big piece of my paycheck that there's hardly anything left to enjoy life.

[This belief is vibrationally incompatible with the stated desire.]

Belief: Responsible debt is not such a bad thing; it has allowed me to enjoy things sooner than I would have been able to otherwise.

[This belief is vibrationally more compatible with the stated desire.]

Belief: With or without debt I can achieve financial balance. Some of the most successful entities on the planet have some of the largest debts.

[This belief is even more vibrationally compatible with the stated belief.]

•••

When you decide that you are going to improve the vibrational relationship between what you want regarding money and what you currently believe regarding money, you will begin to see immediate results. Because dollars affect your life in so many different ways, you think about them more often. So, if you are making some effort to feel better whenever the subject of money comes up, you will quickly shift your point of attraction. The improvement in the vibrational relationship between your desires and your beliefs will be apparent right away.

Seth: Backstabbing Explained and Remedied

Seth, The Nature of Personal Reality, Session 622, Page 77

When someone who has been ill starts on the road to recovery through changing his beliefs, he may be quite surprised to find even his dearest allies suddenly upset, reminding him of the “reality” of his dire state for the same reasons.

Because beliefs form reality - the structure of experience - any change in beliefs altering that structure initiates change to some extent, of course. The status quo which served a certain purpose is gone, new exercises are introduced, another creative process begins. Because your private beliefs are shared with others, because there is interaction, then any determined change of direction on your part is felt by others, and they will react in their own fashion.

You are setting out to experience the most fulfilled reality that you can. To do this you have, hopefully, begun to examine your beliefs. You may want others to change. In doing so you begin with yourself. I told you (in the 619th session) to imagine a game in which you see yourself acting in line with the new desired belief. As you do so, see yourself affecting others in the new fashion.

See them reacting to you in the new way. This is highly important because telepathically you are sending them interior messages. You are telling them that you are changing the conditions and behavior of your relationship. You are broadcasting your altered position.

Some will be quite able to understand you at that level. There may be those who need the old framework, and someone, if not you, to play the part you played before. Those people will either drop out of your experience or you must drop them from yours.

Once more, if you think of daily life as an ever-moving three-dimensional painting with you as the artist, then you will realize that as your beliefs change so will your experience. You must accept the idea completely, however, that your beliefs form your experience. Discard those beliefs that are not bringing you those effects you want. In the meantime you will often be in the position of telling yourself that something is true in the face of physical data that seems completely contradictory. You may say, “I live amid abundance and am free from want,” while your eyes tell you that the desk is piled with bills. You must realize that you are the one who produced that “physical evidence” that still faces you, and you did so through your beliefs.

So as you alter the belief, the physical evidence will gradually begin to “prove” your new belief as faithfully as it did your old one. You must work with your own ideas. While there are general categories of beliefs, and general reasons for them, you must become personally aware of your own, for no one person is completely like any other. The old beliefs served a purpose and fulfilled a need.

Seth Exercise: Changing Beliefs using Emotion and Imagination

Your emotions and your imagination both follow your belief. When the belief vanishes then the same emotional context is no longer entertained, and your imagination turns in other directions. Beliefs automatically mobilize your emotional and imaginative powers.

Few beliefs are intellectual alone. When you are examining the contents of your conscious mind, you must learn, or recognize, the emotional and imaginative connotations that are connected with a given idea. There are various ways of altering the belief by substituting its opposite. One particular method is three-pronged. You generate the emotion opposite the one that arises from the belief you want to change, and you turn your imagination in the opposite direction from the one dictated by the belief. At the same time you consciously assure yourself that the unsatisfactory belief is an idea about reality and not an aspect of reality itself.

You realize that ideas are not stationary. Emotions and imagination move them in one direction or the other, reinforce them or negate them.

Quite deliberately you use your conscious mind playfully, creating a game as children do, in which for a time you completely ignore what seems to be in physical terms and ‘pretend’ that what you really want is real.

If you are poor, you purposely pretend that you have all you need financially. Imagine how you will spend your money. If you are ill, imagine playfully that you are cured. See yourself doing what you would do. If you cannot communicate with others, imagine yourself doing so easily. If you feel your days dark and pointless, then imagine them filled and joyful.

Now this may sound impractical, yet in your daily life you use your imagination and your emotions often at the service of far less worthy beliefs; and the results are quite clear - and let me add, unfortunately practical.

As it took a while for the unsatisfactory beliefs to become materialized, so it may be a time before you see physical results; but the new ideas will take growth and change your experience as certainly as the old ones did. The process of imagining will also bring you face to face with other subsidiary ideas that may momentarily bring you up short. You may see where you held two quite conflicting ideas simultaneously, and with equal vigor. In such a case, you stalemated yourself.

Seth's Process to Discover Your Beliefs

There are two ways to get at your own conscious beliefs. The most direct is to have a series of talks with yourself. Write down your beliefs in a variety of areas, and you will find that you believe different things at different times. Often there will be contradictions readily apparent. These represent opposing beliefs that regulate your emotions, your bodily condition and your physical experience. Examine the conflicts. Invisible beliefs will appear that unite those seemingly diverse attitudes. Invisible beliefs are simply those of which you are fully aware but prefer to ignore, because they represent areas of strife which you have not been willing to handle thus far. They are quite available once you are determined to examine the complete contents of your conscious mind.

If this strikes you as too intellectual a method, then you can also work backward from your emotions to your beliefs. In any case, regardless of which method you choose, one will lead you to the other. Both approaches require honesty with yourself, and a firm encounter with the mental, psychic and emotional aspects of your current reality.

As with Andrea, you must accept the validity of your feelings while realizing that they are about certain issues or conditions, and are not necessarily factual statements of your reality. ‘I feel that I am a poor mother,’ or, ‘I feel that I am a failure.’ These are emotional statements and should be accepted as such. You are to understand, however, that while the feelings have their own integrity as emotions, they may not be statements of fact. You might be an excellent mother while feeling that you are very inadequate. You may be most successful in reaching your goals while still thinking yourself a failure.

By recognizing these differences and honestly following the feelings through - in other words, by riding the emotions - you will be led to the beliefs behind them. A series of self-revelations will inevitably result, each leading you to further creative psychological activity. At each stage you will be closer to the reality of your experience than you have ever been.

The conscious mind will benefit greatly as it becomes more and more aware of its directing influence upon events. It will no longer fear the emotions, or the body, as threatening or unpredictable, but sense the greater unity in which it is involved.

Seth, NOPR, Session 644, p. 213

Blogger's Note: After a few weeks of doing the hypnosis exercise to change a deeply-rooted belief, I awoke one morning with a perfectly delineated nest of beliefs on the subject. I wrote them down and chose the most emotionally charged ones with which to work directly.

Abe Classic: Belief Changing Process

Abraham: Here is the process, we can offer it to you in 30seconds.

Make a statement of desire “I WANT” and what that automatically does is pinpoint the particle that you are going to make bigger. It might already be big and it might just be a particle but that identifies what you want and it also alerts your guidance system. Two very important functions. Now that your guidance system is alerted, anything that is within you or anything that will come to you, that is not now in harmony with what you have said I WANT - you will be notified of it. As you are notified of it then you can simply release that thought from your experience by focusing again upon what you want. That is the way you bridge or alter your beliefs.
You say I WANT. That turns on your guidance system and as you move through life experience, you are sensitive to the way you feel negative emotion, you pinpoint the conflict, you focus again upon what you want and the conflict goes away. That is the process for bridging beliefs or for changing the clump of thoughts within you so that they all go together well until eventually you come to believe that which you are wanting to believe, you see.

Now, does that worry you?
There are those who that would worry. They’d say, “Abraham!! You're talking about changing beliefs!! Do we really have the right to alter those beliefs, are they not beliefs that have been carved in granite or carved and set out for all to follow?”

No!! They are not!!

Blogger note: This is some older Abe from one of the first books. I like digging back in the earlier books sometimes because the approach is just slightly different. Here they detail a process of working through it as it comes up which can be a lot easier said than done. I've really gotten a case of emotional whiplash in these situations which is why I'm combining my current work with the Seth hypnosis exercise which is a long hault, but can be more gentle with thorny issues. However, this Abe approach is good to keep in mind throughout the day as you work out a few knots piece by piece.

Abe: Changing Beliefs

Belief is only a habit of thought. So the big question MIGHT be ‘how do I change my habit of thought?’ And we say the only way we KNOW that will inspire you to change your habit of thought is when you finally HEAR us and really GET it when we say: the way you feel is dependent upon what you are choosing.

And when you really mean it when you say nothing is more important than that I FEEL good, then those habits will change very quickly. But as long as you are willing to do as your elders taught you and buck up, keep a stiff upper lip and tolerate the negative emotions, then there is not much likelihood that you are going to change your beliefs.

Note from your sethabequotes blogger: I'll be exploring differing approaches to changing root beliefs this week. Abe's approach is a little more lighthearted than Seth's and works for me in more superficial areas. I have a particularly stubborn belief I am currently trying to budge, and I think Seth's approach (which I will be blogging as the week goes on) has a better chance of changing it on a deeper level. I've been at it about two weeks using the hypnosis exercises. The effect I observe so far can be likened to applying a product which slowly dissolves layers of rust away on a frozen bolt so it can turn again.

Seth Classic: Point of Power Exercise from NOPR

FIVE MINUTE POINT OF POWER EXERCISE

(You keep contrasting) what you want with what you have, and it is very easy to become discouraged in so doing, but looking for errors in the past will not help you. A correctly utilized five-minute period of time can be of great benefit, however. In this period concentrate upon the fact that the point of power is now. Feel and dwell upon the certainty that your emotional, spiritual and psychic abilities are focused through the flesh, and for five minutes only direct all of your attention toward what you want. Use visualization or verbal thought—whatever comes most naturally to you; but for that period do not concentrate upon any lacks, just upon your desire.

Use all of your energy and attention. Then forget about it.  Do not check to see how well it is working. Simply make sure that in that period your intentions are clear. Then in one way or another, according to your own individual situation, make one physical gesture of act that is in line with your belief or desire.

Behave, physically, then, at least once a day in a way that shows that you have faith in what you are doing. The act can be a very simple one. If you are lonely and feel unwanted, it can merely involve your smiling at someone else.  If you are poor, it can involve such a simple thing as buying an item you want that costs two cents more than the one you would usually buy—acting on the faith, even that feebly, that the two cents will somehow be given you or come into your experience; but acting as if you had more than you do.

In health terms, it involves conducting yourself once a day as though you were not sick in whatever way given you.  But the belief in the present, reinforced for five minutes, plus such a physical action, will sometimes bring literally awesome results.

Such effects will occur however only if you cease looking into the past “for what is wrong,” and stop reinforcing your negative experience.  These same principles can be used in any area of your life, and in each you are choosing from a variety of probable events.

Those of you who believe in reincarnation in more or less conventional terms, can make the error of using or blaming “past” lives, organizing them through your current beliefs. It is bad enough to believe that you are at the mercy of one past, but to consider yourself helpless before innumerable previous errors from other lives puts you in an impossible situation; the conscious will is robbed of its power to act. Such lives exist simultaneously. They are other expressions of yourself, interacting, but with each conscious self possessing the point of power in it’s own present.

It is for this reason that “past-life information” is so often used to reinforce current personal social situations—because, like the past in this life, such memories are constructed through present belief.

(Emphatically) If such information is given to you by another, by a psychic, for example, that  individual is also very apt to pick up those “lives” that make sense to you now, and to structure them precisely along the lines of your beliefs. This may not seem obvious. In an individual beliefs that  he is basically unworthy he will recall or be given, those lives that justify that idea. If he thinks he must pay for his sins now, then that belief will attract memory of those lives that will reinforce it; this will be highly organized recall, leaving out everything that does not apply.

If an individual believes that he is being taken advantage of , and is caught in a mundane existence, unappreciated, then he may receive from himself or others information showing that in other lives he was greatly honored—thereby reinforcing his belief that now he is taken for granted, or worse.

These statements of mine are general, for each individual will have his or her own way of reinforcing beliefs. If you think you are ill, most likely past life info will show that you committed crimes for which you are now doing penance. In whatever framework you choose you will always find proper reinforcement for your belief.

The truth as far as it can be stated is this: YOU FORM YOUR REALITY NOW, in capital letters, through he intersection of soul in flesh, and in your terms the present is your point of power.

So you want as break.

"Yes," says Jane. Jane’s trance had been excellent, her delivery steady and often very emphatic. “Boy, I’ve got the whole thing right there, “ she said enthusiastically.

Abe on Core Issues: the Stuff You Thought You Left Behind

Q: So on these difficult subjects that come up and they are a part of the daily life and they are always a frustration … such as money, love and health. And you have said not to tackle the most difficult, the most pressing one first …

Abraham: Well we say that if you can focus upon things that you don’t have a big negative vibration built up around, the Universe will delivery it to you quickly which will give you confidence in your ability to focus, it will give you confidence in the Law of Attraction, it will give you confidence in your worthiness. So we always say start with easy things until you’ve proven to yourself the power of the Law of Attraction and proven to yourself your ability to focus. But once you’ve got that then we encourage you to clean up your vibration on every subject under the sun.

Your vibration is right where you last left it on every subject. So let’s say when you were in high school someone mistreated you in some way. And you never really got over it. You remember the hurt. You remember the wrong-doing. You remember how you felt. You remember the disadvantage that you took away from it. But then you left there. Eventually you stopped talking about that person. And while you still occasionally have people treat you in that way, it doesn’t come up very often and you don’t think about it that often.

And then somebody says something to you that triggers that. And so now it is active again. And as you begin pondering that again, you feel that hurt all over again. That means your vibration never moved from that hurt. You haven’t been thinking about it so it hasn’t been a big player in your vibration, but it has been lying there dormant with the potential of being activated and now something has happened that activated it. Now because it was there where you last left it, and you are living in the world and you are observing things around the world, different things that you observe have the potential of activating that because it is still where you last left it.

So our encouragement is that sooner of later you take it and you talk it downstream. You do it on purpose. It might require that you take two or three days, here and there, here and there. But you leave it in a whole different place. Now you’ve left it in a different place. It doesn’t have the potential of ever being activated again. In other words you’ve moved yourself to a new place and now it’s not going to curb out of the bushes and club you over the head over and over again, because you’ve shifted the vibration of it.

Q: Even though that thought still exists?

Abraham: The thought exists but you took that subject and deliberately morphed it … in other words, while that happened, you launched Rockets of Desires. So the Source within you saw that relationship, saw that happen, saw what you didn’t want, saw what you did want, and the Source within you gives its undivided attention to what you want that you derived from that
experience. And that Source perspective on that has been potentially active with you all along. So when you deliberately talk about that subject and talk yourself into alignment about it, now that can never creep up again

All of your power is right here because you ability to focus is right here. So as you use your “power of now” and you focus right now on something that closes the gap and causes you to align with Who You Are, you become this vibrational being that is the extension of Source energy and before you know it those vibrations become your dominant vibrations which makes you impervious to mistreatment. It makes it not possible for anything other than what you want to flow into your experience. As long as anything other than that is happening, it means you got those vibrations still active so there’s still some work to do.

So it’s fun for us to watch people get hold of this idea of finding relief, finding relief, finding relief because when your intent is to feel good no matter what the subject is that moves through your mind … so subject after subject, you just find the best feeling thought about it that you can find. Before you know it because of all this different variety of subjects, you’ve cleaned up these core issues that you’ve been carrying around for a while. And then you are finally this loving being who feels invincible.
